This is one of the most popular laser welding machines in our Mage product range. It has a high-intensity, non-contact heat source (laser) and a small, stable, rapid motion system to target and switch the welding object. This dedicated combination is enhancing welding capabilities and speed.

A 200W power laser source is suitable for most thin steel plate and stainless steel part welding. The weld finishing is perfect; for pieces with normal ordinary surface requirements, later processes do not call for grinding or polishing.
One excellent thing about galvanometer laser welding is that it can quickly change the direction of the laser beam's irradiation by using a galvanometer optical system. This lets the laser beam quickly move the welding point while the welding gun stays in the same place in relation to the workpiece.
The scan head of the galvanometer system consists of two mirrors, each perched atop a tiny spinning motor. Mounted orthogonally, the mirrors and motors convert the two mirror rotational motions into linear motion in the X and Y axes. Two mirrors guide the laser beam via the scan head to the lens, thereby concentrating it on anywhere in the X/Y area (2D flat area).
Compared to a normal laser head, a normal lens system only focuses laser beams on a single spot in the X and Y area; to switch the welding spot, the laser head must move.

Mage's glavnometer scanner welding equipment includes high-efficiency welding software that enables operators to independently arrange complex welding paths. The steady laser light source power of the welder comes from a well-known manufacturer; thus, very precise and quick welding goals are achievable. By utilizing integrated computer control systems and dedicated software, operators can even program and simulate welding paths on the machine screen, directly controlling the movement of the laser beam for accurate and effective welding.
The operator has to first map the welding path into the computer's control program. Whether the welding path is a straight line, a curve, or a complex geometry will depend on the design specifications of the workpiece. The program permits fine-tuning of path parameters, including angle, distance, speed, etc.
After a successful import of the welding path file, the operator can quickly and simply change the welding parameters: laser power, welding speed, pulse frequency (should it be pulsed laser welding), and laser focus position. Appropriate parameter control will help the quality of welding.
The Galvanometer laser welding system has visible infrared light and an integrated HD camera system to continuously monitor the welding process. It is easy to monitor the welding operation, whether the Galvo-driven laser welder is doing a spot or continuous welding.
